The Semester in Scotland Program was one of the highlights of my collegiate career. The coursework challenged me to delve deeper into my learning than I ever had before. I came out of the program with a more firm foundation of why I believe what I believe as a Christian, with a more extensive knowledge of the rich historic heritage of the Christian faith and Scotland, as well as becoming a more well-rounded individual. I really appreciated the classroom lectures being paired with field trips to historic sites around Scotland; we truly had the opportunity to behold so much beauty and saw countless historically significant places. Also I could not have asked for a more welcoming congregation. They have a gift from God of hospitality and making all the Semester in Scotland students feel like a part of the family. This program changed my life.
