It’s been a while! This past week was our semester break, so we all have been different places, doing different things. Andrew took us to his sister’s home in Northern Ireland; we spent time seeing Belfast, the Giant’s Causeway and Londonderry, where Stephen showed us around. Jasmine and I did some traveling around a bit of England. We spent the night in Oxford and the following day in London. We walked around a whole lot, which is shown in the wear of my sneakers, haha. Two of the (many) highlights were seeing “The Eagle and Child Pub” in Oxford and Buckingham Palace in London. The Pub is famous for Tolkein and C S Lewis spending much time times discussing their works there. Ask Jasmine for more information 🙂
The rest of the week I spent time with my mother as she came to visit me and to tour around Scotland for the first time! Stephen spent the week off at home in Northern Ireland, Brenda spent good time with her friend Karen and Brent bought a kilt!
This week we continue forward in our studies. We have now begun a book entitled “Urban Harvest” by Roy Joslin.
We are all missing Beth as she is in America speaking with Churches for a total of three weeks– please keep her in your prayers as she will need a lot of strength.
Thanks for your love, interest and prayers! God Bless!
PS We will be celebrating Thanksgiving while here(we’ll have it on the 24th), which we’re all pretty psyched about!!!
